Welcome

The Dutch Bantam is one of the few "true" bantams, not originating from large fowl. Bantam Island in the Dutch East Indies is the original homeland of this docile, proud little bird.

They were first introduced into the US from Holland in the early 50's. At this time they were not favored as exhibition birds and soon disappeared. They were re-introduced in the late 60's and 70's and have steadily gained in popularity.

Dutch Bantams are hardy, active and lively little birds and come in many beautiful colors and patterns.

Our Dutch bantams are bred pure and have never been crossed with other breeds and quite frankly we know of no other Dutch breeders that do cross their Dutch. Our birds are bred to the ABA/APA Standards for the "Dutch Bantam". Our birds represent over 10 years of dedicated breeding.

We no longer have Dutch Bantam but still admire them.
