The title of "Distinguished Merit" is awarded by CFA to those females who have produced a total of 5 Grand Champions/Grand Premiers and to males who have produced 15 Grand Champions/Grand Premiers. The title of DM is attached at the end of the cat's registered name. We feel of all the titles awarded, this is without a doubt the most prestigious.
